Mileage estimates your body age in about 60 seconds, from quick reaction, tap and balance tests plus your Apple Health. Everything is processed on your device.
How does the body-age test work?+
Mileage runs three quick tests on your iPhone: reaction time, tap speed and a one-leg balance hold. It also reads cardio and recovery signals (VO₂max, resting heart rate) from Apple Health. Those become four systems: cardio, neural, motor and recovery, and together they make a single body-age estimate with a per-system breakdown.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Nothing you measure ever leaves your iPhone. Your taps, motion readings and Health data are processed on-device and never uploaded. The only network connection in the app is to manage your subscription. See our
Privacy Policy.
Is this a medical diagnosis?+
No. Mileage is a wellness estimate, not a medical diagnosis or medical advice. If you have health concerns, talk to a qualified professional.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?+
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone: open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Mileage, and change or cancel there. Your first test and body-age number are always free.
My cardio or recovery system says it is unavailable.+
Those two systems come from Apple Health, mainly VO₂max and resting heart rate, which are usually written by an Apple Watch. If Health has no such data, or permission was declined, Mileage scores your number from the neural and motor systems instead of guessing. To grant access: iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Mileage.
What do I need to run Mileage?+
An iPhone running iOS 18 or later. No wearable, no account, and no internet connection are required to take a test.
